The Warriors tied the franchise record for most wins in a season with a 107-84 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.

The Warriors won their eighth-consecutive game on Friday night, defeating the Grizzlies in Memphis 107-84. Stephen Curry put on a dazzling display, scoring 38 points with eight three-pointers to go with 10 assists. Klay Thompson added 28 points and six treys as the Splash Brothers combined to go 14-of-21 from three-point range.

Entering the game with the two best records in the Western Conference, the contest lived up to its billing in the early going as the two teams remained neck-and-neck throughout the majority of the opening quarter. Consecutive layups from Andrew Bogut and Leandro Barbosa put the Warriors up 25-18 with 3:06 left in the first quarter, and Golden State would maintain that seven point lead as the two sides headed into the second frame with the Warriors holding a 31-24 advantage. After an Andre Iguodala three-pointer put Golden State up 39-25 with 9:04 left in the first half, Memphis responded with a 16-3 run to pull within a single point, trailing 42-21 with 3:50 remaining. Stephen Curry scored four points within the final 30 seconds of the quarter before Mike Conley hit a jumper with 1.5 seconds left to send the teams into halftime with the Warriors leading 54-49.
