Naughty by Nature to Perform at Timberwolves vs. Cavaliers Game on Jan. 31

Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced that Saturday’s game against Cleveland will feature a halftime performance by Grammy Award-winning hip hop group Naughty by Nature. A limited number of recently released tickets to the game are available with no fees atwww.timberwolves.com/wolvestix.

Formed in New Jersey in 1989, the group first hit the charts with the #1 hit "O.P.P" in 1991, eventually winning an American Music Award in 1992 for Favorite New Artist. The group continued their success in 1993 with the track “Hip Hop Hooray,” which reached as high as #8 on the 1993 Billboard Hot 100 and is still routinely played at sporting events to this day. They went on to win a Grammy in 1996 for Best Rap Album, Poverty's Paradise, featuring hit single “Feel Me Flow.” The hip hop stars released four albums throughout the 1990s and seven since their formation, most recently Anthem Inc. in 2011.
