NBA's Funniest Moments Hit Disney XD With "NBA Slam Funk!" Premiering June 1-3

Disney XD teams up with the National Basketball Association on "NBA Slam Funk!," three specials featuring the funniest moments by top NBA players on and off the court, set to premiere MONDAY, JUNE 1 through WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT). Hosted by NBA twin brothers Robin Lopez (Portland Trail Blazers) and Brook Lopez (Brooklyn Nets), and Disney stars Cameron Boyce (Disney's "Descendants," "Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything") and Jacob Bertrand ("Kirby Buckets"), the specials will each be preceded by prank-themed episodes of popular Disney XD original series "Lab Rats," "Kirby Buckets" and "Mighty Med."

The three 15-minute specials will include the NBA's best game action bloopers, fan and mascot antics, circus shots, and player outtakes. The Lopez brothers, along with avid NBA fans Boyce and Bertrand, will tip off the specials with their own fun pranks and maniac mascot moments.

"As the drama of the NBA Playoffs heightens, we're excited to work with our great partners at the NBA to show Disney XD's kid and family audience the playful and funny side of some of their favorite NBA players," said Paul DeBenedittis, Senior Vice President, Programming Strategy, Disney Channels Worldwide. DeBenedittis added, "Robin, Brook, Cameron and Jacob delivered an extra dose of comedy and originality to the specials that we know our audience will love."

"This fun, entertaining series will be a great springboard for one of the most exciting times of the year – The Finals on ABC," said Aldo DiCuffa, Senior Vice President, Programming, NBA. "Disney XD allows us to connect directly with our passionate, young fans all year round, and we are excited to be teaming up with them once again this summer."

"NBA Slam Funk!" is produced in association with NBA Entertainment and Base Productions.
