Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Greek National Team remain undefeated in Euro Basket after this morning’s 83-72 win against Slovenia. While Giannis only had three points in 14 minutes he managed to make his presence felt in Zagreb, Croatia. The Greek Freak had a steal and nifty behind the back pass early in the game that got the crowd on their feet and showed off his long strides to chase down Slovenia’s Zoran Dragic and erase his fastbreak layup.
Jorge Guiterrez and the Mexican team picked up their first loss in the FIBA Americas Championship against Canada on Tuesday. Jorge Gutierrez had eight points, two assists and two steals.
