GAME LEADERS

The Warriors wrapped up the preseason with a commanding 136-97 road win against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, October 22 in Anaheim. The Splash Brothers fueled the team to victory with 24 points and 10 assists from Stephen Curry, along with 24 points and four rebounds from Klay Thompson.

The Warriors took control of the game early, as Stephen Curry tipped off what could best be described as a first quarter splash party with back-to-back treys in the opening three minutes. Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson quickly followed suit, each nailing a three of their own, before the reigning MVP rained down yet another splash. All of that added up to 85.7% shooting from three-point land and 58.8% from the field for the Dubs, as they led the Lakers 27-15 with 3:29 left in the first period. Two three-point plays from Shaun Livingston and Festus Ezeli continued the team's hot hand through the first half and gave them a commanding 72-50 halftime lead, while holding Los Angeles to 38.6% shooting from the field.
