Pacers Announce Preseason Schedule; Three Games in Bankers Life Fieldhouse

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers announced Thursday their seven-game NBA preseason schedule with three games set for Bankers Life Fieldhouse and a return trip to Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The Pacers will open the preseason in the Fieldhouse when they face the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 7:00 p.m. They will host Orlando, Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7:00 p.m., and Detroit, Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 7:00 p.m. The Pacers will also return to Fort Wayne for the first time since 2008 when they meet the Charlotte Hornets, Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7:00 p.m. That game will be played in the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

There will be three road games for the Pacers, starting Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Detroit (7:30 p.m.); at Cleveland, Thursday, Oct. 15 (7:00 p.m.) and at Chicago, Tuesday, Oct. 20 (8:00 p.m.).

The Pacers will conduct Media Day Monday, Sept. 28, and open training camp on the 29th. The NBA regular season schedule begins Oct. 28 when the Pacers visit Toronto and will have their home opener the next night against Memphis.
