Compete in the King of the Rock Qualifying Tournament

In addition to being the best fans in sports, #DubNation is also home to a lot of talented basketball players. And in partnership with our friends at Red Bull, we want to give you #DubNation ballers a chance to compete in ‘King of the Rock,’ an elite 1-on-1 basketball tournament that tips off on Saturday, July 12, with a qualifier at Oakland’s Mosswood Park. The winner of the 64-person tournament will receive a $1,000 cash prize plus a trip to Taiwan to compete in the King of the Rock Finals on September 6 at the prison exercise yards of Samasana Island.

Registration for the Oakland qualifier is free and begins at 9 a.m. on the day of the event, Saturday, July 12, at Mosswood Park (3612 Webster St, Oakland, CA 94609). GET THERE EARLY, as sign-ups will only be available on a first come, first served basis until the tournament field fills out.

In addition, we’ll hold one spot in the tournament for a fan who includes @redbullsfo and the hashtag #KingOfTheRock in a tweet that explains why they deserve to be a part of this tournament. Tweet
