The San Antonio Spurs will hold auditions for the 2014-15 Spurs Silver Dancers on Saturday, August 2 at 8 a.m. at the University of Incarnate Word (Convocation Center). The Silver Dancers are the official on-court dance team for the San Antonio Spurs and serve as community ambassadors for the organization. The Silver Dancers will enter their 23rd season entertaining basketball fans.
Prior to auditions, aspiring Silver Dancers have the opportunity to take part in three (3) Silver Dancers Prep Classes starting Sunday, July 27. The Silver Dancers Prep Classes will include a variety of floor drills, routines, a question and answer session and mock audition on the final class day to help guide prospective Silver Dancers and prepare them for the audition process.
Silver Dancer Prep Classes require a $25 fee for each event, which is due at registration prior to each event. The Silver Dancers are the official on-court dance team for the Spurs and will begin their 23rd season this year. The Silver Dancers perform dance routines and entertain fans during Spurs home games. In addition to their game night performances, they are active members of the community, making appearances and attending events throughout the year.
