Spurs Announce 2014-15 Broadcast Schedule

The San Antonio Spurs announced today their 2014-15 broadcast schedule, highlighted by 74 games airing locally in high definition (HD) on FOX Sports Southwest, KENS-TV (CBS 5) and KMYS-TV (CW 35). FOX Sports Southwest will air 60 games this season, KENS-TV will broadcast 12 games and KMYS-TV will carry the action for two games. The season tips off on TNT on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. when the defending NBA Champions host the Dallas Mavericks at the AT&T Center. Prior to the game, the Spurs will receive their NBA Championship rings and will unveil their fifth NBA Championship banner. The Silver and Black will appear on TNT for seven nationally televised games and two games exclusively on ABC.

Veteran broadcaster Bill Land returns to call his 12th season of Spurs basketball as the lead play-by-play announcer and former Spur Sean Elliott returns for his 14th season as the lead analyst. The versatile Andrew Monaco will primarily serve as the sideline reporter and studio host.

All 60 FOX Sports Southwest broadcasts will include “Spurs Live” pre and post-game shows, hosted by Ric Renner. FSSW will also continue weekly airings of “Spurs Insider,” which provides fans unprecedented access and an in-depth look at Spurs basketball. FSSW has been televising Spurs games since 1987.

KMYS-TV will broadcast the Spurs at Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, Dec. 20 and Spurs at Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, Feb. 25. Both KMYS-TV broadcasts will feature 30-minute pregame specials.

Beginning on Dec. 7, basketball fans looking for more Spurs coverage can also tune-in to “Max Spurs,” hosted by Chuck Miketinac. “Max Spurs” airs weekends on KABB-TV (FOX 29). Check your local listings for details.

All Spurs games can also be heard on WOAI-AM 1200 with Bill Schoening calling the action and KCOR-AM 1350 with Paul Castro providing play-by-play in Spanish.

Single game tickets to Spurs games through Feb. 6 will be available on Sept. 26 at 10 a.m.  Spurs single game tickets start at just $11. Tickets are available online at Spurs.com or ATTCenter.com and may also be purchased at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or on weekend Spurs games starting at noon.
