Pacers Announce 2016 Preseason Schedule

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers announced their 2016 preseason schedule that features one home game in Bankers Life Fieldhouse and a home/neutral site game in Evansville, Ind.

After opening the preseason, Oct. 4 at New Orleans, the Pacers will host Chicago, Thursday, Oct. 6, at 7:00 p.m. in Bankers Life Fieldhouse. They will meet the Bulls again at Chicago, Oct. 8. On Wednesday, Oct. 12, the Pacers play Milwaukee at Evansville's Ford Center, then travel to Orlando to play the Magic, Oct. 14. They close out the preseason, Oct. 19 at Milwaukee.

"I think it's great any time we can take our team to different parts of the state and let our fans in these areas see us in person," said Pacers President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird. "We take pride in being the 'Indiana' Pacers and look forward to going to Evansville. We think the fans there will like our team and our opponent, Milwaukee, is one of the young, talented teams that could be a playoff team this season."

Starting at 10:00 am on Sept. 8, single-game tickets for all 2016-17 Pacers preseason home games will be available for purchase at Pacers.com/Tickets, by calling (800) 4-NBA-TIX or by visiting the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office.

Tickets for the game in Evansville, Ind. between the Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks will go on sale Friday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. CT. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, the Ford Center Ticket Office, or by calling (800) 745-3000.

The Pacers' Media Day will be Monday, Sept. 26, with training camp under new coach Nate McMillan opening on Sept. 27.
