The matchup will be the first of this season’s two matchups between the two teams, and the Dubs will be looking to extend their six-game winning streak over the 76ers. Monday’s matchup will tip off at 4 p.m. and fans will be able to watch the game on CSN Bay Area and NBA League Pass*, or listen to the call on 95.7 The Game on the Warriors Radio Network.

LAST TIME OUT
The Splash Brothers combined for 51 points and the Warriors beat the Nets 112-95 on Saturday night at Oracle Arena. And not that it was in question at all, but the win made it official: the Dubs will have a spot in the 2017 NBA Playoffs, marking the second straight season that the Warriors clinched a playoff berth in February. BLOCK PARTY
The Warriors have assembled one of the top offenses in NBA history, but their defense as of late has also been quite notable. The Dubs have had 10 or more steals and blocks in three straight games, and they lead the league in such games with eight. With numbers like that, it’s no wonder that the Dubs hold their opponents to an NBA-low 43.5 percent shooting. Philadelphia is toward the bottom of the NBA in offensive field goal percentage (43.9 percent), which sets up quite nicely for the Warriors on paper.

PHILADELPHIA SCOUTING REPORT
The 76ers go into Monday’s game coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Knicks on Saturday night. Despite the loss, the Sixers have still won four of their last six, and they are especially a dangerous team at home, having gone 9-2 at the Wells Fargo Center since the start of the New Year. Injuries have taken their toll on the Sixers, as the number one pick in the 2016 NBA Draft – Ben Simmons – has yet to play this season, and leading scorer Joel Embiid hasn’t played in more than a month. The injuries have allowed others to shine, as forward Dario Saric has scored at least 18 points in seven straight games. Saric is part of a youth movement by the Sixers, who have the look of an up and coming team assuming they can heal up from their injuries.
