Season Summary
Tyler Ennis gradually found his way into the Lakers’ rotation after being traded for Marcelo Huertas on Feb. 23. The 22-year-old largely road the bench on the playoff-bound Houston Rockets, but ended up averaging 7.7 points on 45.1 percent shooting in 22 games with Los Angeles. Ennis was particularly effective late in the year, finding his 3-point stroke while impressing head coach Luke Walton with his defense.

20: Points scored against Minnesota on April 9, which were his career-high. Ennis led the Lakers to one of their final wins of the year, shooting 7-of-9 from the field with five assists and four 3-pointers.

What’s Next
Having played for four teams in the first three years of his career, Ennis is still looking for a place to call home. The Canadian would like to make his name in Los Angeles, saying that playing for the Lakers was “the first time I was able to come in and get a fair shot.”
