ANOTHER LEVEL OF SPLASH
The Warriors have been synonymous with 3-point achievements in recent years. Stephen Curry is the NBA’s all-time career leader in made 3-pointers, Klay Thompson holds the single-game record for most 3-pointers, and both players have spent their entire NBA careers with the Warriors. Apparently, that 3-point touch is rubbing off on their teammates. Andrew Wiggins matched his career-high with eight made treys on Saturday, and the Warriors as a team have made at least 20 threes in four of their last five games. Only one other team in NBA history has achieved that feat – the 2021-22 Utah Jazz – and the Warriors will be looking to continue those splashing ways on Monday against Indiana.

INDIANA SCOUTING REPORT
The Pacers’ one and only visit to Chase Center this season will be their sixth game of a seven-game road trip. Plus, they’ll be on the back end of a back-to-back after falling to the Trail Blazers on Sunday night in Portland. The Pacers have lost four of their first five games of this extended trip, their one victory coming on a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer from rookie Andrew Nembhard last Monday against the Lakers. Like the Warriors, the Pacers are a high-scoring team that relies a lot on perimeter shooting. Third-year guard Tyrese Haliburton, who is making a strong case for his first All-Star honor of his career, leads the team and the NBA in assists (10.9 apg), but he missed Sunday’s game in Portland with a groin injury. Rookie guard Bennedict Mathurin is also a capable scorer (18.5 ppg), ranking second among first-year players in scoring. Defensively, veteran center Myles Turner is a strong protector of the paint, ranking second in the NBA in blocks (2.4 bpg). The Pacers are one of four teams in the league to average at least 40 3-point attempts per game, so the Warriors will surely look to limit those open looks.
