Grizzlies to air 'Made in Memphis: Vol. 1'

MEMPHIS, December 13, 2012 – As the story continues to unfold on the court for the 2012-13 NBA season, the Memphis Grizzlies are set to debut Made In Memphis: Volume 1 on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 9 p.m. CT. The 30-minute television special, which highlights the early season storylines, including the ownership change, will air a total of ten times on SportSouth from Dec. 20-31.

Made In Memphis: Volume 1, produced by Emmy Award-winning Pat Stage, Director of Video Production, is the first of the Made In Memphis series and tells the story of how the best start in franchise history, all while under new ownership, sets the table for a great season in Bluff City.

With Head Coach Lionel Hollins leading the charge, the Grizzlies are once again a team proving that they are a force to be reckoned with in the NBA. With victories over the defending Champions, the Miami Heat, a serious Eastern Contender team in the New York Knicks, and the reigning Western Conference Champions Oklahoma City Thunder.

The half-hour telecast will give fans a chance to hear from Grizzlies players, General Manager Chris Wallace, Chief Executive Officer Jason Levien and NBA Commissioner David Stern as they reflect on the best start in franchise history.
