Jonas Valanciunas doubtful to play Friday at Golden State

New Orleans starting center Jonas Valanciunas is in jeopardy of being sidelined for a second straight game, listed as doubtful to play in Friday’s contest at Golden State due to a left calf contusion. Five Pelicans players are listed as out on the club’s official injury report, including Jose Alvarado (right tibial stress reaction), Larry Nance Jr. (left ankle sprain), E.J. Liddell (right knee ACL injury recovery), Dereon Seabron (G League two-way) and Zion Williamson (right hamstring strain).

On the Golden State side, Steph Curry (tibia/fibula), Andre Iguodala (hip), Gary Payton II (adductor) and Andrew Wiggins (personal reasons) were all listed as out for tonight’s home game on TNT vs. the LA Clippers. Jordan Poole (knee) is listed as probable.
